JUNE'S SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE WORLD CONFERENCE
2002! ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS
Each month between June and October the e-news will highlight a workshop
or speaker to be seen at the World Conference. On the third day of
the conference, there will be parallel roundtable discussions on Marketing
at Outward Bound (led by Kelly O'Dea, OBI Board), international PDP collaborations
(led by Roni Richey, PCOBS), international programming (led by Keith Choules,
OBHK), Executive Directors Discussion (led by Jon D'Almeida and Winston
Lim) and Board Member Discussions (led by Chien Lee, OBI Vice Chair).

changed our navigation. We want to make international inquiries easier

GLOBAL MARKETING WEBSITE INITIATIVE:
In the June issue of the Outward Bound
International News, Kelly O'Dea, OBI Board Director speaks about the
need for "One World, One Outward Bound". He has put his resources
towards this goal by committing his staff at FCB Worldwide to assisting
OBI in creating an umbrella website for programs and schools. To do this
effectively, we need your help! If you have'nt already done so, please
submit your course information to obinternational@globalserve.net
OUTDOOR MEDICAL INCIDENT DATABASE (OMID):
At the April OBI Board meeting Outward Bound Australia received overwhelming
support for its database. This database, developed over the last 10 years,
has helped OBA track their safety incidents and change training and policies
to reflect gaps in safety. Through generous support of the Board of Directors,
OB Hong Kong, and OB Canada, this database will now be available to schools
