The North Carolina Outward Bound School is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Senior Development Officer. This position reports to the Director of Development and will cultivate, nurture, and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporations, with an emphasis on special projects such as The Unity Fund and the 40th Anniversary Campaign.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills, excellent writing and organizational skills, and a strong working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Raiser's Edge. At times, the position may require considerable regional travel, primarily by automobile.

The salary for this exempt position will be dependent upon the individual's experience level. Benefits for this position include health insurance, life insurance, and retirement plan.
